Upcoming Training

We are offering courses at our Guelph location. In addition to our WaterFurnace Service/Install 3-day course and the WaterFurnace Piping Design/CGC Intaller-Designer 4-day course, we are adding the HRAI Residential Heat Loss & Heat Gain Calculation (3 day) and WaterFurnace Service/Install Updater (1 day) classes. The current class schedule is shown below:

WaterFurnace Service Install - Apr. 27-29 2010 at 8:00 am cost: $300 + GST for WaterFurnace Dealers (includes coffee, lunch and course materials.)

In the Service Install class, students learn the specifics of servicing and installing WaterFurnace geothermal systems. Students should have a thorough knowledge of air conditioning and electrical equipment before taking this course. Graduating students will earn WaterFurnace Factory Fusion Certification.

Topics include:

  • Flow centre installation, loop flushing/charging/pressure drop/antifreeze use/pressurization
  • WaterFurnace Equipment (Premier, E Series, Synergy & Versatec) installation, Connections
  • Start-Up and Maintenance
  • Intellizone system application, features, installation and maintenance
  • Equipment Accessories, auxiliary heater installation, thermostats
  • Servicing (refrigerant, nitrogen brazing, thermostatic expansion valves, filter-driers)
