REHAU radiant heating systems are fully integrated, ideal for both new construction and retrofit applications, and is an ideal match to the low temperature efficiency of geothermal water to water heat pumps. REHAU RHS is compatible with a variety of floor coverings, including hardwood, carpet, vinyl, ceramic tile and marble, as well, it allows the simple integration of non-floor surfaces (e.g. walls, ceilings) as radiant heating panels. REHAU RHS also provides a safe and reliable way to keep outdoor areas clear of ice and snow with long-term performance and reliability. REHAU RHS is comprised of several signature components that combine to offer unsurpassed comfort, efficiency, application flexibility, and reliability. These signature components of the REHAU RHS are RAUPEX O2 barrier pipe, EVERLOC fittings, PRO-BALANCE Manifolds, and RAUPANEL dry panel heating. In 1968, REHAU pioneered PEX with the introduction of the first PEXa pipes; when you’re dealing with REHAU you’re dealing with an industry leader.

RAUPEX O2 barrier pipe has been manufactured by REHAU for over 35 years and over 1 billion feet has been installed around the world. As a result, RAUPEX provides the confidence of installing a system that offers superior performance, temperature capabilities, and long-term strength. RAUPEX pipe contains a high degree of cross-linking which results in a durable and flexible pipe that bends easily around corners and requires fewer fittings and less installation time. RAUPEX is freeze break resistant and actually expands when frozen; pipes are not likely to burst when exposed to freezing conditions.

EVERLOC fittings are well known for their strength and provide a reliable, long term connection that is virtually maintenance- and worry-free. Because of their larger inside diameter, EVERLOC fittings provide superior flow characteristics and less pressure loss than compression and crimp ring systems. EVERLOC fittings do not require flame, heat, or solvent to make the connection so they are fast and easy to install. EVERLOC fittings are also immediately ready for service once they are connected. EVERLOC fittings are covered by a 25-year limited warranty and REHAU is the only PEX manufacturer to warrant radiant heating fittings when encased in concrete.
PRO-BALANCE manifolds are manufactured from smooth-wall extruded brass pipe, come pre-assembled, are 100% air tested in the factory, and provide long life with minimal maintenance. PRO-BALANCE manifolds have colour coded supply/return valves that provide easy identification of supply and return lines. PRO-BALANCE manifolds have both integrated thermometers and flow gauges that when combined, provide a quick and accurate method of calculating heat output to the radiant panel system. PRO-BALANCE manifolds also have integrated automatic air vents, fill ports, and complete individual circuit shut-off valves. These integrated features speed air elimination and simplify system troubleshooting and serviceability. REHAU’s 4-wire manifold valve actuator attaches easily to the PRO-BALANCE manifold and provides easy zoning without the need for additional piping.

The RAUPANEL system is designed to provide rapid response, optimal performance and ease of installation. This patented low profile system is an excellent alternative to joist heating and poured thermal mass applications. The RAUPANEL system consists of 3/8” RAUPEX pipe, extruded aluminum panels for strength, and wood return bends. The aluminum panels offer high conductivity with a low profile and a low mass, and eliminate the need for structural reinforcement. RAUPANEL is a complete engineered system that is easy to install, eliminates the overpour often used in radiant systems, and requires less job site preparation and installation time. RAUPANEL provides fast response time that limits set point overshoot and provides the highest BTU/h/ft2 output with the lowest water temperature. RAUPANEL can be installed in walls and ceilings, provides the most even surface temperature, and directs more heat to the space, not to the room below.
